This Privacy Policy describes how the Valinda Color Run 2026, operated by the Valinda School of Academics Parent Boosters (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our online fundraising platform.

Information We Collect

Donor Information: When you make a donation, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your name, email, and payment details. We store your first name and donation amount on our platform. You may choose to donate anonymously.

Student Information: We display only the student’s first name and last initial, grade, and teacher name. No photographs, full names, addresses, or other personally identifiable information about students is displayed publicly.

COPPA Compliance

We are committed to protecting children’s privacy in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our platform does not collect personal information directly from children under 13. Student fundraising pages are created and managed by school administrators. No student accounts or logins exist.

How We Use Information

Donor information is used solely to process donations, send confirmation emails, and display donor names on student fundraising pages (unless anonymous is selected). We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Payment Security

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never store credit card numbers or sensitive payment details on our servers.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for site functionality (e.g., rate-limiting message submissions). We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
